The movie tells the story of Mesopotamia and Levant – the East and the West of the fertile crescent.
Through the extramural dialogue between modern scientist and ancient calligrapher, it presents cuneiform of Mari and Ebla kingdoms used before 5000 years; the world's first alphabet of Ugarit; the temples of Ishtar and Baal in Tell Halaf, Endara and Palmyra; the living language of Christ - Aramaic, which is still spoken in Maalula; mosques and the market of Damascus.
