About Strezov George Strezov's first connections with music began when he was very young - in 1996 (when he was almost seven years old) he started taking piano lessons in Vesselina Bacharova's piano school. Scarcely had he been enrolled when he started performing on various stages (including the famous "Bulgaria" chamber hall). He had played Beethoven sonates, Bach inventios, Prokofiev pieces, Tschaikovsky, Debussy and etc. Yet, he always wanted to change something in those compositions and to add an unique flavour - his love for improvisation started growing more and more.
When in 2002 he was introduced to a PC software for music producing, George was stunned. From that moment on he decided to make music and to work hard in that direction. He started learning different musical styles and softwares, he started analyzing music and looking for various techniques and stereotypes. Of course, he began uncertaintly - he ran through genres like hip-hop, trance, pop; there is classical music, rap bands and jazz musicians in his playlist. Joining the bulgarian audio society "Sonic - B.A.N.G." (Bulgarian Audio Network Guild) was one of the most important decisions. In this website he made connections with bulgarian composers and sound designers, that helped him very much later. Since then Strezov decided to study in the Bulgarian Academy of Music "prof. Pancho Vladigerov" and started serious harmony, solfège and theory training. Now, George Strezov studies conducting in the Bulgarian Academy of Music.
Meanwhile, George Strezov definitely was not bored - he played with eight talented musicians in the rock band "Ajabez". And while he could not experiment in classical music, he improvised here, playing the pianos and synthesizers. Together, they won the Bulgarian's National Television competition for a new band and played with famous music band in front of the National Palace of Culture in Sofia, Bulgaria. They participated in concerts in rock-clubs "FANS", "BackStage", "Swingin' Hall", went to a music festival in Serbia, played on a big amount of concerts. In 2008 Strezov decided to leave the band and concentrate on his own way as a composer and sound designer.
Apart from his projects George Strezov works on his debute album. AchievementsMusic inspirationMarco Beltrami, Cliff Martinez, Alexander Desplat, Mozart, Chopin, Henry Mancini, Ray Charles, Beethoven, Brahms, Poulenc.
